Trumpeter swans @ Magness Lake, Heber Springs, Arkansas

It’s not often that Magness Lake is frozen but the cold temps we had this week in Arkansas did the job. I had a lot of fun photographing the swans this afternoon. Here are three of my favorite images from today’s shoot.

A friend emailed me a link to your blog. Your work captures the moment very well. I will add you to my list of favorites which include Tim Schultz and Matt Bradley.

Yes the swans are present…my estimation is between 100-150…you should go see them…they usually leave around the 1st of March!

Hey, Jason….I’m snagging a photo of these beautiful swans for our little FB page, Wild Birds Unlimited/Little Rock, AR. Let me know if it’s not ok, & I’ll remove it. Thx.
