The Look ~ Image of the Day ~ 024

I photographed this couple at Saint Simons Island, GA almost six years ago. This is one of my oldest wedding images but it remains a favorite!

41st Squadron’s Homecoming | Little Rock Air Force Base | Abby + Brian

It was such a privilege to get to photograph the 41st Squadron’s homecoming this morning. A few weeks ago, Abby contacted me to see if I could photograph her homecoming with her husband who has been stationed in Afghanistan for the past 10 months. I was so happy that it worked out that I was free and able to be a part of this special event this morning. After several delays, the troops made it home around 4am this morning. It was such a joy to see all of the happy men and women embracing each other and welcoming their loved ones home. Here is a series of three pictures that I took of Abby and Brian as they saw each other for the first time. Thank you Captain Park for all that you’ve done. I appreciate you defending the freedom I enjoy that allows me to live my dreams. Thank you also for inviting me to be a part of this special moment. It is a day I will not forget.

The Ultimate Reception Entrance ~ Image of the Day ~ 023

This is definitely my favorite entrance to a reception. Brandi, Zachary, and their bridesmaids and groomsmen choreographed this perfect entrance. There are several photos in this series that I really like but this is my favorite. I love Brandi & Zachary’s expression! What a fun night!
